Mango Languages, New Features!

Posted August 4th 2014

The Baylor Health Sciences Library now has access to all four language learning components comprised within the Mango Languages program. Each of these components – vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and culture – commit to providing real-world examples of how learners use the language(s).

With Mango, users can observe real-life situations, listen to conversations between native speakers and watch films with language translation features. In addition, Mango’s approach to “intuitive learning, critical thinking and repetition” encourages users to build a language learning structure that goes beyond traditionally less useful sentences and phrases provided by other language programs.

  • Mango Languages features over 70 foreign languages and 17 ESL courses taught by native speakers.
  • Included in the Baylor Health Sciences Library subscription is the Medical Spanish module! Be sure to take a moment to check it out here.

Don’t forget to download the free Mango Languages Mobile App for Android, iPhone, Kindle, Nook or iPad!
