The Baylor Health Sciences Library is pleased to present its latest art exhibit with paintings produced by artist William Dill. Work from Dill’s Art as Therapy: Demons, Delusions and Fantasies series will be on display in the Library now through August 28, 2015.
William Dill’s dominant media is acrylics, earth-friendly water soluble oil pigments, pen, ink and pencils. His stated inspirations come from his travels, photographs, his own delusions of mind and spirit, and his collaborator. Cited style influences include impressionism, magical realism, along with 60s retro artists, Milton Glazer and Peter Max.
The intent of my work is to express individuality and provide the proverbial food for thought, leaving the viewer with the ability to laugh, frown, like or dislike, and to wonder. This exhibition is a snapshot from my soul.
